Gardenia: Gardenia was setting up for her own show, her nerves were a total wreck. Still, thanks to the support she got from her friends, she felt a bit more confident now. She could do this, this was just another show, another grand appearance, only Mr. Dark was watching now. She was good...she could sing and play and dance...she could do this...

Taking a deep breath, Gardenia brushed off her new red dress, adjusting her hair a bit and making sure that her appearance and everything else was in place and perfect. She just prayed that things would go well for the others tonight to. The last thing she wanted was anyone to be 'gone' the next morning, even those she thought deserved it...

Mr. Dark: The time was mid-morning, and what a morning it was. The sun burned overhead with a brilliant glow, promising a warm afternoon ahead. There wasn't a cloud in sight, and the earth was bathed in the brilliant blue sky. It was days like this that made one forget fall was right around the corner. This was the perfect day to take the family out for a day of fun in the sun. And what better place to do that than the circus! Par the course for Saturdays, Circus Darkrai was filled to the brim with wide eyed faces. Parents bought sweet confectioneries for their kids; Lovers attempted to win prizes for their significant other; Children played underfoot with toys and balloons. Everyone was glowing with satisfaction and happiness. Another successful day at Circus Darkrai.

And what would a circus without a ringmaster? The driving force behind the circus' success. The face of the show, and the one all applauded and adored. Mr. Dark exited his private kart, the sudden shift from man made light to sunlight not even phasing him. His trademark grin was right where it belonged. The grin that said 'This is my domain.' Not a hair was out of place, and the ringmaster looked as divine and imposing as you'd expect the legendary Darkrai to look. Throughout the month, he had taken it upon himself to witness every act, observe every game and ride, and oversee all behind the scene work to make sure his employees were performing to the best of their abilities. Many of them performed well enough, but a few had needed to be pulled aside and...-ahem-, spoken to, about their performance. It had been a very busy month for Mr. Dark, but he was not done yet! Not only that, but he had to keep up appearances. His audience expected a charming and proud ringmaster, and he would easily deliver. This was the reason he exited his kart, and made his way into the heart of the crowd. Mr. Dark greeted guests, asking them about their days, and helping out lost circus-goers find their intended destinations.

Yes, this was his domain. He ruled it. Thrived in it. And controlled it with a iron claw. This thought went through his mind, which manifested into his charming grin turning wicked and toothy. Though only one with fast reflexes would catch it, for it was back to normal just as fast. Ah, he loved the limelight. (Mr. Dark is on the prowl! Who will he interact with?)

Isa: Isa Was prepareing for her act tonight to make sure it was perfect. the reason for the extra effort is because the Ringmaster Mr. Dark will Judge her performance and she rather not find out what will happen if she fails to please him.

Set: He stood there in the center of his arena, bright unblinking red eyes aglow as he glared to his audience that was packing around his ring. The man snarled at seeing them gawk in horror at the monstrous Pokemon, taking a step but being restrained by his chain. He growled, tugging at the shackle around his throat as he looked to the chain attached to the ground. He WANTED to bite it off, but Mr. Dark was still punishing him for trying to mummify one of his customers. He was to be shackled for his shows until he could control himself around the audience better...cause apparently killing customers is bad for business. Hmph...damn serfs.

He watched with blood-hungry eyes as more gathered around him, more than usually, for the big show. He didn't care to impress Mr. Dark, he was just going to do what he did, but just to stick it to the Darkrai he'd be EXTRA cruel to the Ferals tonight. If he can't infuriate the Darkrai, at least he could make his stomach churn.

Set swiped his long pink tongue over his bright sharp teeth, getting a chuckle when a few people gasped, waiting for the Circus Assistant to open up one of the feral cages so he could begin the chase. These people wanted a monster, all they saw was a monster, so he was going to SHOW them what a monster he could be...

Norn: Today was the day. The Dark Ringmaster himself was going to be around the whole circus, watching everyone doing all their work, and Norn was not exempt from it. Normally for the giant, he'll usually have little to no trouble performing for a crowd, but if Mr. Dark himself was apart of the crowd, it'll just drive the Nidoking insane to just try and not screw up in his presence. His burnt foot (Thank you Tally) wasn't helping much in that regard either, but tonight he would have to suck it up; he had to perform. It was quite ironic that someone like him had such a firm grip over the giant, which of course he hated, but there was no point in trying to go against him. Dark was the one that granted Norn his strength in the first place, and he could just as easily take it away from him (or perhaps do something much much worse) in a moment's notice. He got up onto the stage, which was already set up and ready to go. Let's do this...

Hax: It had been such a wonderful weather for the past few days. Clouds and rain, rain and clouds. Not a ray of sunshine had been seen. It had been so perfect, so very perfect. Maybe too perfect, in fact, since now that damned fireball seemed to be back with amped up force. With a disgruntled groan, Hax pressed his sunglasses farther up his beak as he exited the Lune train car. Even though there were already herds of customers swarming the circus grounds, there was no way in hell the Haxorus was able to put up his little shooting show, not with that cursed sun trying to burn his eyes in their sockets. He had half a plan to try to find a shady spot to practice a bit, though. Maybe behind the tents... The Big Top was grande in size, and so was the shadow it casted. A blessing if you wanted to hide from the sunshine, like Hax so dearly wanted.

Gwen Unholy sunlight. Dreadful day. Urgh, it was painful really, being out and about in the broad daylight. Thankfully, being a shadow half the time was an easy way to avoid the Giratina-forsaken rays of light. The Spiritomb was but a shadow on the ground, moving about freely beneath the feet of the visitors, Shadow Sneaking her way around. She wasn't too keen on being seen really - not only was it an instinctual thought of hers by this point in her life, but hey - an Etoile was a big show. Didn't want to spoil a single thing for the masses that had come to the circus this day. Given what she was, it was probably best to avoid people anyway. Regardless, she just went around observing what patrons came in - children, parents, lovers, siblings, everything in between. Quite a variety. It would be fun putting on a show for them later that night.

After a while of merely sneaking about, Gwen started to feel a little drained of energy. The sun sapped at her all the more too. She had to find shade or SOMEPLACE to chill for a moment. Giratina below, how she hated the day. Retreating to the nearest tent she could, the Spiritomb stepped up from the shadows she had hidden herself in and stretched her bandaged limbs, letting out a long sigh before looking around to see where she had ended up. She wasn't really paying much attention to where she was going. Why should she? In a few hours or so, she'd have to go back to her own room and prepare herself for her show in the Big Top, but until then, she might as well kill some time. No use gettting her bandages in a bunch anyway - she knew what day it was. Judgement Day - and she was not about to be caught unprepared, so she had her own personal schedule mapped out to the minute. This was merely free time - might as well use it wisely.

Gardenia: Gardenia was still setting up, taking her instrument bag and putting it away before taking her Ocarina and looking down at the dark green porcelain. She had some time to kill before people started coming in, so she could at least try to tweak a few times. But...maybe she could get some fresh air while she did it. Maybe it'd even calm her nerves a bit...

The girl walked out of her tent and sat one a few crates outside, scooting so she was in the sunlight. Her headflower opened to absorb the sun's rays. IT was night and bright today, and she could use all the energy she could get. As her headflower was doing the job of recharging her, she took out a handkerchief and began to polish her Ocarina until she looked up and saw none other than Gwen passing by, probably going to get ready for her own show. She smiled at seeing the other woman, waving her hand to her, "Good morning, Gwen!" she called, a large smile on her face at seeing her good friend.

Wilona: A sigh. The Wooper's face was as happy as a krabby's hanging over a barbecue. Everyone was talking about Mr. Dark this and that and Arceus let me die. Wilona glared around quietly, trying to decide what to do. What she didn't want was to listen to everyone around her talking about the goddamn piece of a wiener. Of course, she was supposed to be working. Just look around - it was swarming with potential fishers and their quarters made banjo solos in these people's pockets. She looked in the wrong direction and the force of those glistering eyes made her swallow. A huge-ish (he was wide as hell) porygon child had locked his eyes with Wilona's. He was holding a cotton candy, as pink as his huge fat face, on one hand and on the other hand - Will knew what that tight ass grip meant - some coins.

She wasn't gonna put up with that. Money was nice but there was no one close enough to be a fisher-to-be and the kid didn't make the Wooper smile. She would bleed from her lips if she had to force a smile on. Quickly she jumped off her chair and flipped a BRB sign over, and took off. She could feel the kid speeding up, trying to catch up with her but nah. Wilona was gonna do something to piss off the great Darkrai and working didn't belong to that list.

Emmeline: Somehow, she'd managed to avoid the entire circus for the past few weeks. Accomplishing that was.. rare, to say the least. At least one of her co-workers managed to find and annoy her, but she had taken great lengths to shield herself from anyone else. Of course, the customers where another story, but she had been doing well to fend them off too. Today, however, she could no longer hide. The ringmaster had wanted to see his worker's performances, and she had been polishing her already fantastic act. She stepped outside to be greated by harsh sunlight. A soft growl escaped her lips, as she hurried towards the big top. The Deino stuck her head in, and saw a good chunk of her co-workers gathered there. Well, no more avoiding them. She walked in, staying close to the sides ad out of the light.

Scarlet: Morning, a time of the day she normally sleeps straight through. Today, though, she seemed rather active. Was it because she knew she had to leave a good impression, or was it some other motive even she did not know? Either way, the volcarona was up far earlier than she needed to be. Her act was late at night when only stars were in the skies and her fireworks could shine bright. She had been trying really hard to perform masterfully for the past week or two, but the ringleader hadn't visited her performance specifically. Scarlet let out a sigh.

She walked around the circus, curious as to what the other circus workers were doing. They were all aware of this day, the day where Mr. Dark will openly be walking around, interacting with everyone. Scarlet wasn't too delighted by this, but she hasn't seen the Circus master since she had joined, much less actually speak to the man. All the orders she had heard and done have all been through secondhand media. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a crowd roaring inside one of the tents close to her. Deciding to check it out, she entered through the employee's entrance to get a great look at the act causing such an uproar. She was shocked when seeing in the middle of the arena-like area, was a maskless cofagrigus chained to the ground. He seemed rather hateful of the crowd and as though he could attack them at any moment.

Isa: Isa decided to walk around a bit, after all one must take a break once in a while, she leaves her train and has her protect move ready to use just in case a man gets to close to her. the sun shone brightly and was warm against her fur, this day reminded her the day she evolved from a Eevvee to a Espeon, it also broubht sad memories because no soon after she evolved was when her mother died as well. she held her locket close to her, the only possesion she had from her old life and from her mother. she was never seen without it and she didn't know what she would do if she lost it. it was her treasure and the only thing that mattered to her.

Lorna: The dewott was already up; today was the big day. The day Mr. Dark would be evaluating many of the performances and the work of those who didn't take the stage light. She was running around like crazy, trying to catch all of the acts at least in their climaxes to go and brag about them to the audiences. She wanted to draw extra large crowd today, and get more audience members than she ever had. She wanted to convince the skeptics, amaze the ignorant, and taunt the teasers. But she also had to look her best. Every mirror or reflective surface caused Lorna to stop and check herself out. Hair in place, lipstick not smeared, pearls displayed. Gripping onto one of her scalchops, the mon sighed. She was not one to get nervous, but there was extra pressure today. If things didn't go well, well.. she gripped her scalchop tighter. No. That wouldn't happen. She did this every day, she would do it every day from here on out. just like any other day.

Gwen: The Spiritomb stayed in the shade of the tent for a bit before she decided to go back outside, narrowing her eyes at the sunlight that hit her head on. Thankfully, the patrons didn't go back this way, as this was more or less the Lune's safe haven from the crowds that came for them. With that in mind, Gwen didn't think she'd be meeting anyone back here - but she was wrong. Her head snapped to the right, her pupils turning to slits momentarily upon hearing a voice, not even registering who it belonged to or what it was saying. It was just too close. However, when the Spiritomb saw who had spoken to her, her gaze softened slightly and she bowed her head in greeting, her arms folding behind her back. "Gardenia...I should not be distracting you." she looked down at the Lilligant for a moment before a small grin formed on her jagged lips, raising an eyebrow at the girl, "Best of luck to you though, darling. You'll have quite a crowd on this particular day. But you'll be fine, I'm sure." She paused for a moment, the glowing green orbs behind her head chattering and swirling about a little faster than usual until the Spiritomb abruptly raised her hand and snapped her fingers, forcing them to be silent. "Your nerves aren't eating you now, are they?" she inquired, frowning, "I don't need to use Psychic to see you are rather...distressed."

Hax: The longer Hax wandered under the sunlight, the louder he cursed in his mind. For a while, he had thought he had gotten somewhat used to the little... nuisance the big boss ringmaster had caused him, but that day seemed to prove the opposite- or maybe it was just the matter of the sudden change. He just needed to adjust. Again. How fun. So much fun his beak would probably be hurting from all the smiling at the end of the day. Urgh... but oh, what was that feeling? The little chill of shadow covering you? Ah, he had reached his destination. The shadow of the Big Top- at the moment it was lingering behind some Lune tents which worked just fine for the Haxorus. Some extra cover was always welcome. Hopefully no nosy kids would think there was a hidden show going on. Hax had surely gotten his fair share of annoying kids already... But now, to happier things! Shooting things! In such a small space, there was really no point in trying to use the rifle, but he could work with his pistol just fine. Thus he pulled the gun from its holster from one hand, and with the other hand fished in a pocket to pull out a playing card. A flick of wrist sent the piece of carton flying through the air, and only seconds later a loud bang echoed into the air as a bullet pierced the card.

Cäcilie: Slowly, really slowly the noibat sat up in her bed. Even as she had gone to bed early last night she barely could find any sleep and was now really tired. It was really inproper since for today she actually should be fit. She shook her head a bit and stood up, grabbing her clothes and trying to bring her hair up to normal. A few minutes later she left her cabine, just to see that most of the others seemed empty. Of course she was late, so she quickly left the wagon too. Narrowing her eyes and raising her hand a bit, since the sun blinded her.

Piero: *Piero was walking in circles at the backstage of the big top, he tried not to show it, but he was extremly anxious, for years he have being wanting to show Darkrai just how much his presence, his teaching mechanics and his ways to push other performers to meet with a the same quality control he used to force his workers to reach when he was a ring master himself. After the fateful day the train decided just to leave without him, Piero realized how little Darkrai cared about him, the king of stage, the undying heart of Etoile!... He would make things right this time, yes, he would show him, he would show him just how important and vital he is to the circus, and how the performance of Etoile has increased thanks to him... Or so he hopes... As many advices, tips, training sessions he had offered to others, or forced into them, there is no telling if every performer will manage to impress Darkrai... His honor was in the hand of these people he tries to educate and train daily. The man stops walking for a moment and gives a huge sigh... He will not get another chance to impress Darkrai... He will make sure to do his best in his performance, but he can only hope that all his crew members will do the same... Eyeing the place, he clears his throath.* Gentlemen... Today is an important day for Etoile... All of you know who is coming to judge our performance, and I am sure as hell that you know that there wont be place for mistakes this day. We need to give our best out there! I dont want a 100% of effort from all of you, I want you to give a 105%! Do not dissapoint me, do not dissapoint the crowd... And most important, do not dissapoint the Dakrai!... We will show him why we are center of the circus, why we are the reason everybody comes to this place! We are the house of Etoile, and tonight we will show Darkrai why we are the owners of the stage! *He yells, his voice echoes all over the backstages and big tops for any Etoile member to hear.*

Mr. Dark: For about twenty more minutes, Mr. Dark paraded around the circus with his benevolent facade. Pokemon would speak with him, and leave his company with smiles on their face and laughter in their hearts. While his employees may know him as a cruel and sadistic man, the truth of the matter was that Mr. Dark was a damn good business man. He did not see his audience as suckers, though many of his employees might think otherwise. No, they were his customers. They came for entertainment. They paid for entertainment. And that is what Circus Darkrai, and by extension Mr. Dark, would provide. Goods and services. Circus Darkrai was a business.

After helping one more audience member find their way to the Big Top, (Honestly, did people not realize the big tent was the Big Top? Was it that hard to put together? Weesh.) Mr. Dark backed away from the crowd, deciding it was time to get back to work on his month long task. Inspecting his employees. He snaked around the tents, avoiding the heavy thrall of the circus, and avoiding too many more questions or distractions. When he appeared again, he appeared almost directly south of a small stage. Used by some of the Lune stars to perform their acts, obviously. Today, the stage was scheduled for use by one purple strongman. Hmm, here was a promising first target. Let's hope the day would start as strong as the Nidoking was.

“I do hope I'm not interrupting preparations for your routine, Mr. Sandow.” This was Mr. Darks greeting, and it was as icy and devoid of charm as you'd expect. His audience members were one thing. His employees were another. He had already suckered them into servitude. He did not need to be nice to these fools and halfwits. Mr. Dark approached the stage, but came no closer than an audience member would. His smile was sinister, and he would control this conversation. “You know why I'm here, so I will not bother explaining myself.” He tipped his hat backwards, his tone flat. Mr. Dark was already bored. “Your show has been received well.” Not a question. A statement. Only one answer would be acceptable. “For your sake, I hope so. I don't want to regret hiring another strongman.”

Wilona: Wilona could just feel the pride inside her slimy self raise and evolve into a bigger, slimier being as her curses inside her tiny mind got more and more imaginative. She was smiling to herself with all the jokes with her and brushing into people around her. It was all good and hella till Will's eyes captured that one white dress going past her. It wasn't all so white anymore when she looked behind - where the dress was going. The smile lost her self-loving sense and it was all "whoops". She didn't mean to paint the walls with her skin matter but what can you do. Mr. Dark did do that to her so if you had any complaints take them to the sir boss sir ok bye.

The Wooper made it out of the mass of people she had marked and put her face against a tree. She couldn't lean all cool like the characters in fancy movies. It was a sad, sad fact of being goddamn handless. Her eyes focused on nothing since all the people kept moving. She had lost the fat porygon (he looked way more like a porygon-2 than the first evolution), which was good. Now she- w-wait. What was that. She heard a gunshot, for sure it was a gunshot. The slimy round face lit up. Someone could have shot Dark! An actual corpse of a cunt! She had to see that. What she found was... anything but as impressive. There was no Dark. Not even a corpse. What the fuck. "Where's the body, you were supposed to shoot Dark," she whined to herself, but still out loud.

Norn: Thankfully, there wasn't really much of a crowd right now. That gave him some free time to practice and lift some weights before the actual show began. He wrapped and tended to his burnt foot with some gauze he got from the physician earlier today to relieve some of the pain. Hopefully it'll last long enough for it to not hurt during the show later. Then, when Norn looked to see who had addressed him, he couldn't help but give a small, almost silent gulp. Mr. Dark was there, standing right in front of the Nidoking. HIM of all people had to show up now? Oh, this was going to go swell. "Of course it has!" Norn exclaimed, "I would never let myself get outclassed by some fucking monkey!" He wanted to sound confident in his abilities, which of course, he was no doubt. he crossed his arms, smiling at the dark ringmaster. "You'll see how exactly strong I am when this show starts! You will not be disappointed, I promise!" In his head though, Norn hoped for his and Dark's sake that he'd be able to keep that promise.

Jerrie: Jerrie sighs as she leans against the giant metal box of death that was an integral part of her escape artist act. Her two assistants were who knows where, probably out and about doing more fun things than catering to the Klefki and her act. Not that the fairy terribly minded the personal space. Heck, she had always been used to being alone or by herself, so it's not as if she's distraught to be without company. The privacy is all the more important to her, however, as it's a time when she can settle her mind and prepare herself for another trip to null-time space or whatever you would want to call it. To her disgruntlement, the relative peace and quiet she has is interrupted by the yells of a rather noisy clown. Jerrie can't help but scrunch her face up in frustration, glaring at the clown as he speaks before huffing and turning her head away. It's not like she needs a reminder about how important tonight's performance will be, nor does she really care how the others do. The only important thing to her is that she survives this performance, like the many that have preceded and will follow it.

Hax: It was kind of a wonder how scoring a hit still managed to brighten Hax's mood, even if the target was only a playing card. The beginning of a grin that managed to sneak on his beak was short-lived, though, as suddenly a whine invaded the Haxorus' personal space. The momentarily brightened look on his face turned back to murky as he glared around to spot whoever had dared to appear to bother him. A Wooper. A tiny Wooper. Wonder if he could just kick her away? Would she fly far enough? "Funny how I don't recall signing such a contract," he barked back at the woman, voice just as happy as the look on his bladed face was. "Nor receiving a sufficent payment." Not that such a payment evenexisted. There wasn't a prize high enough to be put on Mr. Dark's head- at least not for the Haxorus to consider making a move against the Darkrai. Some stupider and more foolhardy 'mon could give it a shot if they wanted, but Hax's crossahairs would never land on the ringmaster. The Haxorus was quite enjoying being alive, thank you very much.

Mr. Dark: As Norn belted his passionate answer, Mr. Dark had to restrain himself for laughing. Easy. It was too easy. His tilted his head to the side, and offered a questioning look, though the smile on his face made it seem more like Mr. Dark was just toying with Norn. The look was one of Mr. Darks easier looks to read. It's statement was simple: 'You're making this too easy for me.' He'd never say that out loud, but it didn't take a detective to figure out that was what Mr. Dark was thinking. As Norn attempted to look confident and loom over the Darkrai, Mr. Dark actually laughed. It was harsh and insulting, and came from the gut. His employees were so busy trying to impress him, that they failed to understand what the Darkrai really wanted, though he would not reveal it just yet. No, let them flail about in their own spit and determination for a while. It amused him immensely. “And the Chestnaught? She is a strongwoman, and a dancer. In those regards, she outclasses both of you.” His grin was wicked. “For your sake, please keep your promise.”
When his laughter settled down, Mr. Dark spoke once more. His tone was no longer bored, but back to its usual suave self. “But I digress. If you are ready, Mr. Sandow, why not start early?” He questioned, raising an eyebrow. “The hour you are scheduled to start is not the mandatory starting time. You may begin performing so long as it's before the scheduled hour, and I am right here. And I am waiting to see if you can impress me...” Mr. Darks hidden statement was loud and clear. Begin. Now.

Gardenia: The girl shook her head, "No ma'am, you're not distracting me. At least in a bad way. You're just fine." She scooted a bit and patted a spot on the crate next to her for the other woman to sit, though she was shocked when she saw the souls swirl around until Gwen stopped them.
She stared for a moment, softly frowning at her inquiry, "N-No...I'm fine..." she bit her lip, not wanting to lie and knowing she COULDN'T lie for very long, so she gave up and sighed, "Actually...yeah...my nerves are shot. I'M REALLY on edge. I'm trying to stay calm and everything...and if it wasn't for the support I'd be a complete mess. Yet still....I'm nervous..." she sighed, looking down at her Ocarina and resting it in her lap.

Isa: Isa hummed a song as she walks to the Lune tents to see the others perform. When Isa was little she never went to a circus she was always to busy with her singing lessons to go. in fact she never did much as a child all her time was devoted to her lessons. She wanted to be as perfect as her mother. however since she made that Wish with Mr. Dark she now had time to participate in stuff she never did as a child.

Piero: *He finished talking, hoping that maybe something he said would stay in other performance's brains. Dont screw this up, people. Just dont... He eyed the people in the place, trying to read their reactions... There was a specially negative one from a Klefki that just seem annoyed by it? Oh how lovely, this was one for those escape artist, he knew everybody by face and job, he rarely cared to remember names. Surely if she didnt care to listen was because she was completly ready to give her best in her act... Let's make sure to check that is true. He walked toward her, when he was close enough he stomped his cane on the ground and tilted his head.* I am sorry, deary, am I bothering you?... I am sure you must be quite busy at the moment having some really important thoughts... And of course are quite ready for your meeting with Mr. Dark this day. I should have known. *He takes a look at the Box of death next to her.* Escape artist, I see, bambina... I surely hope you can make coming out of that thing a magestic act that will make the crowd drop on their knees and wonder how did it happen... Or else Darkrai is not going to be amuse. *His tone switches between sarcastic, and dead serious in the last sentence.*

Gwen: Gwen looked at the girl with a frown, walking over to the crates, but not too keen on sitting down so it seemed. Rather, she stood, listening to the girl without ever even blinking, letting out a small sigh when she was done. Of course Gardenia was nervous, she had been a total wreck up until this point really. She recalled how distraught she was after the excursion to the city with the Mr. Mime, and how fear-filled she was to the point she had awoken screeching in the night. Gwen was all to aware of how the girl was feeling, she just needed to hear Gardenia confirm her thoughts. And she did. Which prompted Gwen to bring her arms out from under her back and shrug, "...Fear is but an illusion, darling. It can be both good and bad." She grinned a little, "Let it motivate you - do not let it overtake you. You will be fine, Gardenia. I know it." The souls behind the womans head started spinning faster again until their hostess clicked her tongue at them and they slowed, allowing the woman to look back at the girl, "See, even these freaks agree." she scoffed, motioning towards the souls with a hand, making them shrink back. The Spiritomb chuckled at this, but then took on a more thoughtful expression, looking at the girl steadily, "....I have hours before I am even expected to begin thinking about preparing for my preformance...Perhaps if I am present at a show of yours it would put you at ease."

Marcus:  There was an eerie feel to the air as its heavy weight pulled down on Marcus's nerves. The to be stallion was locked in his work as his arm still remained slung and his eye bruised. He was a sight to behold that was for sure. His tricks of the trade were his pride and joy, and given how his life had changed so much in just the past few months, the style that he often used had changed alongside it. What was once a simple show of amazing feats no other could match, had become a show reflective of the pain that lived in the colts heart. He'd become more daring and bold in his antics. More risks were taken by the colt that hadn't often been taken prior, and certainly no audiance assistence aside from a few looks and glances to be sure he was chained up were ever wanted. He wasn't going to risk again what he'd done as a Yveltal. Mr. Hax depended on him recovering from that. "That trick requires too much.. My arm is close to being better... I can't risk anyhing," he sighed as he shook his head through his contemplations. Confused over his dilema, Marcus tried to think of the perfect performance to give during Mr. Dark's analysis venture. He had to show just how capable he was despite his injuries. Flicking his ears though, Marcus felt the presence of another rather close to him. With a turn there came shadows moving about and a strange.. odd... almost frightening voice that pierced his nerves. Marcus being how he was, didn't even attempt to investigate. Nope. The desire to run, the urge to hide, and the need to vanish were all too strong at the moment to allow him the curiosity to check out just whom it was the shadows belonged to.

Lorna: Lorna found herself outside a the big top, smiling and waving to some circus goes she pretended to remember from the crowds. Pulling herself around to the back where hopefully no one would find her, she pulled out and quickly lit a cigarette. Her nerves were out of control right now, and she certainly couldn't drink anything. So her cig was her only vice. Taking a breath, the smoke immediately relaxed her. But, at the same time, she was constantly on alert to see if Mr. Dark would come out of nowhere and catch her not doing anything. Her fingers trembled gently, cigarette holder moving up and down with her shakes. Breathe Lorna, breathe. She would really appreciate having someone to rant or talk to right now.

Wilona: Oh god, someone with that deadly face could speak. Wilona was very sure his smile would kill ten growlithe puppies at once. Don't smile, creepy nerd. "So if I give you," there was a pause where the Wooper thought of all the pennies in her pocket, "money you would kill people? Wow, that's." She didn't deny it was amazing - like wow, okay. If you killed people for money Will was all on that train. I don't like that dude but I do have money; you like money and don't care about the dude. The Wooper's smile was crooked and definitely anything but serious. "You really can shoot stuff then? Like, actually hit them?" She walked closer to the Haxorus, not at him though, ew. What she saw was nothing. What was he shooting at? Like, for reals. "There's nothing here. Did you shoot air because that's not very impressive," she peeked over her shoulder at the big nerd.

Jerrie: Jerrie winces a bit as she hears the tap of a cane against the ground next to her, turning her gaze toward the clown who was now a few meager feet away from her. Listening to what he has to say, she gives another small huff before responding in a rather bitter tone. "I'd be better prepared if I didn't have other performers bothering me while trying to get into the right mindset for my routine. d believe me, I plan to give the crowd one heck of a show. Just wait and see." She then rips her gaze away as she eyes her own equipment with contempt. This stupid box wasn't a challenge for her. She's escaped from worse containments. But the time slips...a slight shiver goes down her spine, and as she pulls herself away from those dark thoughts, she realizes that the clown is still there. "What, aren't you satisfied? Why don't you go bother one of the other performers? I'm sure there's some that could use a gravely voice in their ear while they finish up their preparations." Like maybe that Keldeo nearby. Not that Jerrie can see him, with her eyes staring daggers at the clown in an attempt to convince him to leave her be.

Norn:  Norn could read the look on Dark's face, and it grimly reminded him of another person he knew from long ago. Norn had to swallow his pride to keep himself from decking the man across the face. He clenched his fist, not caring if he saw it or not, but eventually relented. Then, the Darkrai laughed out loud, which further shot down the Nidoking's pride. Norn was almost at a breaking point now, and the Darkrai knew it. He didn't really care about the comment on the Chesnaught. Unlike Sav, Norn actually kinda liked Eleanor, so that didn't get on his nerves quite as badly as the Darkrai perhaps wanted. "Hmph, I'd say she's alright." he muttered simply. He could tell Dark was impatient, and maybe now was the time to try to get under the Darkrai's skin. "I'd rather wait until the scheduled time, if you don't mind." he said, looking at his boss almost smugly. The more people who arrive at the show and like it, the more they'll want to come back for another show, and I'm sure even you don't want to lose any business by having me perform for only you." Yeah, Dark was probably pissed at him, but Norn didn't really care about that at the moment. If he couldn't beat him up physically, then maybe a few words will suffice for now.

Hax: Look at that Wooper counting together 1 + 1, and even getting a right answer from the simple equation. Guess those huge eyes left some space for brains in the skull. Who would've known? "Yes," a simple question, a simple answer. What was left unsaid was that the little missy probably didn't possess the kinds of money it'd take to hire the Haxorus. "And yes I can shoot. I'm a marksman," his voice took a momentary dip in the ice water. Who the hell did this shrimp think she was, questioning his skills like that? Her next comment didn't exactly improve his mood either. Had this happened on the streets of Goldenrod, that missy would've gotten a bullet between her eyes- and there was no denying Hax's trigger finger was itching even now, even if he knew the rules had changed from those times. What a pain. "Maybe your eyes just aren't sharp enough," Hax remarked, pulling another playing card from his pocket and showing it to her. "Because my targets tend to be small."

Set: The man smiled at the fear he could smell, he could SEE, off of those that were watching. He swayed a little, letitng his chain drag as he did. He then stalked around, going as far as the chain allowed, before finally extending all four of his shadowy arms to show them off. Many people gasped at this, most having never even SEEN a Cofagrigus, nevertheless knew about the shadow arms. OH how amusing...their fear of the MONSTER he was. So stupid they all were. Yes...so stupid indeed.
He cackled a little, eying his assistant about ready to open up a cage. Maybe this show would actually be FUN for once. THey wre so scared that none dared to abuse him! At least...not yet.

Roc: A sudden quake starts up as the giant artist steps into the tent, ready to meet more of his queer family.

Scarlet: The Volcarona watched the cofagrigus closely. She hadn't seen one without a mask before, the man's teeth were incredibly sharp. She could see that from where she was, she'd hate to have to be the assitant to the act. Cofagrigus, as far as she knew, weren't necassarily a violent species, unless provoked. And boy, did this one look provoked. The man seemed to be laughing at the audience's reactions. Releasing his arms had caused a small uproar throughout the crowd, Scarlet even got a laugh at this. She knew that knowledge of the cofagrigus species was limited to books, that she couldn't read, and knowing them first hand in the deserts. Though, from her experience, the ones that met a cofagrigus didn't make it out safely if they were an outsider. The crowd suddenly gasped as the assistant had released a small feral pokemon. Scarlet couldn't tell exactly what it was from her position though.

Cerise: The Jigglypuff felt her mind cloud with thoughts of worry, eager, desperation and anxiety, but she felt that she wasn't the only one feeling like so at the moment. The ringmaster of their circus had announced he was going to visit each performer's show to assure they were doing their job well, and to impress; that thought alone made Cerise bite her lip. Multiple questions were going through her, and finding an answer only made her mind hurt even more. Already she had listen to some of her audience members comment that her job, bullwhipping wasn't a talent worth showing off on stage. Well what do they know?! They have no idea! Still, Cerise couldn't help but linger onto those faded voices. If that's what her crowd, her audience believed.. what will her boss say? What if I messed up during my performance? What if he thinks my performance isn't good enough and decides he doesn't need me anymore? What if.. what if..-?!
Grabbing her candy bag on her belt, she dug her hand to the bottom and grabbed a pink bubblegum, throwing it into her mouth trying to concentrate on it's flavor in hope of calming herself down. Nothing. She spit the gum out, not bothering to see where it was flying towards. Searching for another, she picked a caramel flavor sweet and almost bit her hand trying to put it in her mouth. Not even her favorite... She bit it and spit it out, frustrated at her failed attempt, not realizing she had accidentally spit it towards a certain Dewott near her.

Piero: *The clown's expression was serious, it was obvious that he was not amused by the girl's attitude. She better show some damn good performance to make up for this , or else heads will roll... Piero's included most likely.* You better not choke on your words. I expect something ground breaking then... *He turns her back to her and starts to walk away, he stops for a moment and adds.* Don't get too cocky, the best escape artists have met their ends in their final act. *He says in a cold and serious tone... He didnt do this just to make her nervous, but to make her question what and how she will try to perform tonight... He was about to walk away but then a faint voice catches his attention... There was someone else around, he could feel it. Looking around and making some guesses, he turned and moved to see a keldeo that seem to be eager not to be seen... Face was familiar, another escape artist, his name, thought, escapes him. With a rather confused expression the clown stared at him for a few seconds before asking.* What are you doing there, kiddo?

Mr. Dark: Whether Norn clenched his fist or not, knowing that he was getting under the Nidokings skin was child's play. Pride, when not rightly earned, was no better than a facade of righteousness. If someone with pride barked back in retaliation if their talents were questioned, you could tell that pride was trying to compensate for something. Whether that 'something' was Norns past, or his current 'rivalry', Mr. Dark didn't really care. All it meant was that Norn was an easy target, and hardly any fun to toy with. This was reflected by Mr. Darks smile turning down just a smidge. But even the small amount of entertainment Mr. Dark got distracted him from his objective. He needed to make sure Norn could do his job. To see if the Nidokings pride was deserved or not. Though saying that the Chestnaught wasn't a threat to his act did help his case. A little. But of course, someone with this sort of pride earned a bit of ground in their arguement, and thought they could take the whole mile with it. Norn was right, though. And if he had just mentioned that final bit of information without the triumphant and smart tone, Mr. Dark would've let it slide. But, hmm, nah. If Norn was looking for a bit of skin crawling, he wouldn't find it here.
"Impressed word-of-mouth can draw in new spectators, no matter how small your audience may be at the beginning. With the abilities you are boasting, I'd assume your confidence to draw in an audience would be outmatched." He smirked. "But that's just the ramblings of a ringmaster. Begin your show whenever you please. I have all day." Mr. Dark spoke no more, and waited in the crowds as the audience rolled in. Despite saying he had all day, Mr. Dark's words had an underlying statement to them. He had all day, but Norn would not be recieving all that time. He better start soon. Mr. Dark was growing impatient and had other acts to attend. Other acts that did not bore him with the wait time...

Tony: Antoinette walked into the tent with Isa attached to her arm. She knew that the girl did not like to be around men so they stayed close to the edge of the crowd. She saw that there was already a lot of the employees already there. Some of them she knew, but most she still did not know. She took in the scene before her and saw that Mr. Dark was making his way around. She did not like the man nor did she really hate him either. Antoinette looked down at Isabella and asked. "Do you want to go sit in the chairs?"

Isa:  yeah that sounds good" Isa said and they both go and sit down on the chairs.

Lorna: Something jumped at the dewott's feet and her black ears caught the sound of a spit. Did someone just SPIT at her? Oh man, she was going to give whoever did this a piece of her mind! Customer of the circus or not, no one spat at the feet of-was that a candy on the ground? Had someone spat out candy? She looked up and her black eyes landed on a jigglypuff. Not just any jigglypuff, but one of her friends! "Cerise!" she called out, running over toward her. The grin on her face was unmatched. Finally, a friendly face around here. "Cerise! Oh thank Arceus, it's you! I have been stressed out of my mind with this Mr. Dark observation thing." She exhaled and put out her cigarette on the ground. "How are you holding up?"

Leeta: Leeta entered the big top tent. Luckily her tent was prepared for the evening she had heard Mr. Dark was planning on speaking the the circus members this evening. She stood along the back of the crowd skirting the edge of the crowd, she had been acquainted with several members but was only close to a handful of 'mon, she wasn't quite comfortable with the many 'mon she still didn't know.

Marcus:  Marcus stared at the voice as there came a form to hold it. A form to speak it. A form to breath out each one of its chilling and spine lurching words. What in the hell WAS this guy?! He looked like a demon lost from Giratina's cells! A monster escaped from the depths of nightmares had only by the plagued and duranged! Pushing back, the boy had only spit to swallow in thick gulps, his fur far on end from the sight of the deformed creature that spoke to him. "NOTHING!" And there the colt went. He jumped away, ignoring the shoots of pain seeping throughout his arm and into his shoulder as he forced a lot of movement on it. He had to find a box. A crate. A rug. A cage. ANYTHING. Anything that could hold a singular body in it, marcus HAD to find it. He needed it to escape the line of sight from the terror that escaped the night. it didn't matter that his voice held no smilarities to his form, no malice or thirst for blood. There wasn't even vengence lurking about his syllables nor dancing around the very question asked. He had just asked a simple question. Still Marcus had no desire to be near the speaker given how he looked and rushed towards his own little box of tricks, opening the doorand slamming it shut in a rather droll attempt to hide from the guy. "I'm not here right now! I'm practicing how to be invisible! YOU CAN'T SEE ME!!" he shouted out to the clown. He'd not seen the other person just yet. For the moment, only scary mc. death joy was in his line of sight.

Tony: Antoinette pulled a chair out for Isabella first for her to sit and then pulled out one for herself. Antoinette did not sit as properly as she normally would in her seat. Instead she put her feet on the seat and sat on the back. It helped her keep most of the crowd in view then if she where to be sitting down properly. "Are you okay? Not getting jittery with who is here are you?"

Isa:  "i'm fine now that you're with me." Isa said. Ever since she meet the scrafty she felt much safer When ever Tony was around. she saw her as a big sister and was Happy to have her as a friend, she did evny Tony for having such courage, she had hoped one day she can walk around with her head up high without the help of Tony but till then she is happy with her Company

Jerrie:  Jerrie rolls her eyes as the clown tries to intimidate her, glancing aside as she brushes off his words. "Don't get your shoes in a twist, clown; I have no plans on dying anytime soon. Not now, not ever." It's not as if Jerrie isn't aware of her disposability; hell, it's always troubled her to know that the entirety of her act depends on the use of her backfire. All it would take is a disgruntled Darkrai to revoke the wish that came coupled with that backfire to doom the Klefki in the midst of her escape. Or even worse, he could trap her in a time slip permanently, never to be seen again. She understands how important it is to keep the crowds and her employer happy, not only to maintain her employment but for the sake of her own life. Her attention soon returns to the clown, however, as she hears the performer talking to someone else. Curiosity gets the better of her as she follows his line of sight to what appears to be a Keldeo. The Klefki had heard of there being a few legendaries among those working here at the circus, but she had never actually seen one of them up until now. And perhaps she will never see one again, as she watches the colt bolt into a box of his own and seal himself inside. The equipment around the box was a telling sign of the boy's occupation, and Jerrie is a bit surprised to realize that she had just seen one of the other escape artists. Not sure what to make of this situation, she remains where she is, quietly observing the hidden stallion and the depressingly serious clown to see what will happen.

Norn: Now that he was able to get that out of his system, Norn, not wanting to argue the fact and point, decided to finally give in to the Darkrai's wishes and start his show. "Very well then, I'll begin my show." he told the ringmaster. He was impatient, and Norn at least knew his place enough to not to cross the line too far with the man, or Arceus knows what will happen. Norn stood up onto the stage, wincing slightly at his burnt foot. Once he had gotten back onto the stage, he looked to the dark ringmaster, "As you are the ringmaster, you can give me any request you want, and I'll be able to do it without a hitch!" he said, putting his confident tone back on for the slowly entering crowd. He didn't know what request he was to expect from the Darkrai. He knew it would probably involve something being extraordinarily heavy, even for him, or do something that would wind up humiliating for the Nidoking. Either way, he had no choice but to tend to his wishes. He waited silently for the Ringmaster to give his request while more and more people started to come in as well and take their seats.

Gardenia:  The girl smiled at Gwen's inspirational words, nodding at her, "I suppose...but I don't know if I'm like you. Fear just holds me back from things, I have no idea how it would make me concentrate at all. It's just too scary for me." she leaned into her slightly, "St-Still...thanks. The reassurance really does help me out." she realized she was leaning into her a bit too much and jerked away, blushing and looking down, "S-Sorry..." she knew Gwen wasn't too fond of touchy-feely stuff...but the girl felt indebted to her for all the help. Not to mention how she...had comforted her that one awful night...
She stared at the swirling souls around Gwen, curious as to why the kept doing that, "Why are they spinning like that, Gwen? I've never seen them do that before. Not like that, at least." she reached out to touch some of the souls, only to yank her hand back when something had nipped her. She pulled off her black glove and was shocked to find a little bite mark on her hand. It didn't break the skin, but it did kinda sting. It was more of a shock than anything, "I-I think one of them bit me?" she gawked, not knowing they could do that.

Wilona: "So we can pretend I knew you had that because that wasn't the case a second ago," Wilona muttered. What a rude fuck but that didn't really surprise the slime. Did you see that face, Arceus, she was going to have some horrificly detailed nightmares of it. The Haxorus' face was so ugly it killed everyone the end. "You don't shoot air then, which is remarkable, but that and... people," Will turned back to the front. "If you shoot me in the back of my head I'm just gonna laugh in my grave with a 'told myself so'." She made her tiny little feet move forwards and after a moment she turned to the big bad man. "Could you still shoot me between eyelashes from here?" Obviously Will was so round and circly it was easy to shoot her even when you were a blind man in thick fog.

Piero: *The clown stared silently as the kid performed quite an scene, jumping around and finally locking in his own box, all while Piero just watched resting his arm on his cane, with a amused grin that looked like this.  He noticed that the girl approached to see what was going on, he turned at her to make a question.* Do you know this kid?... Because I seriously can't tell if he is some kind of comedy genius, or is just insane. *He walks to the box of tricks and knocks it with his cane, as if it was a door.* Hello, anyone home? Is Mr. Invisible kiddo in here, because I have a special package from Mr. WhatinArceusnameareyoudoingboy.~

Robecca: A braixen was in a hurry carrying some toys in her arms. 'Robecca you're an idiot! I shouldn't have tried to make a few more toys last night!' She yelled at herself, slightly overslept and was running in a wide-eyed panic. She managed to get to her stand, put the toys down in their places and sat down on a chair at her stand letting out a sigh of embaressment. Her ears were down while she rubbed one of her tired eyes, 'I hope this doesn't make things worse than they already are...'

Roc: Roc, being somewhat of the curious mon he was, saw Norn's show and sat down in the nearest seats. They seem to creak under his wheight.
